I am super excited about today's DIY project - it's a PARTY! An armparty!
Have you already joined the trend?
Everywhere I look whether it's my favorite blogs, Instagram or Pinterest - DIY tutorials are popping up everywhere.
Most of them are metal but I really love leather, lace and fabric bracelets.
So, a couple days ago while trying to go to sleep (that's when the best ideas come to me), I had the awesome idea to make my own leather lace looking bracelets.
And because I love to share, here is the full tutorial just for you! YAY!

Here is what you'll need:
♥ leather scraps
♥ sharp (!) scissors
♥ paper and pencil
♥ measuring tape
♥ needle and thread
♥ paper puncher

♥ paper puncher
♥ buttons
First make a paper stencil. You can also drawn the design right onto the leather but a stencil makes it all easier.

Cut a strap of leather that will fit around your wrist.

Draw the design onto the leather strap.
Cut out and make sure to use sharp scissors.

Punch the holes.

Cut a slid that fits the button (don't make it too big!)

Sew the button onto the other side.

Put it on.

Here is another one with a tribal inspired design.

And last but not least I made one with a heart puncher, that I can wrap around three times.
TIP: Burn the fringes around the edges and around the holes with a lighter but be careful or the leather melts!
All done and you can make them in all shapes and sizes!
Oh, and this is just the beginning of our armparty, come back next week for more party fun!

Leather Lace Bracelet Tut
Awesome! Thanks for the Hi-Res shots and simplified instructions!
I enjoy crafting my gifts, they seem more personal (hopefully she’ll think so too!)
